Founded in 1992, JANM is the largest museum in the United States that is dedicated to sharing the history of Japanese Americans. Manzanar National Historic Site → Manzanar Reward Rd, California
Manzanar, an internment camp opened in March 1942 in California, confined more than 10,000 people of Japanese ethnicity during World War II. Explore what camp life was like through photographs and testimonies from its prior inhabitants through this site.
